What We Do

More Than a Program. A Village.

For more than 20 years, the work of Ronny’s Village has centered on building trusted relationships with young people and families and creating opportunities for them to succeed.Today, Ronny’s Village is bringing that experience together in three connected areas:

Youth Development & Mentorship

Young people need adults who show up, listen, encourage them, and believe in them.Through on-court and off-court mentorship, sports coaching, summer camps, school-based programs, and other opportunities for connection, we help young people build relationships, confidence, skills, and a sense of belonging.

Family & Crisis Support

Sometimes a family needs more than encouragement — they need someone who will help them get through the moment.Ronny’s Village connects families and individuals with support for basic needs such as food, clothing, transportation, and housing-related expenses, along with crisis intervention, life coaching, and relationship support.

Education & Opportunity

We believe every young person deserves a real opportunity to succeed.We support academic engagement and tutoring, help keep young people connected to school, and connect youth experiencing homelessness with resources and opportunities that can help them move forward.When we reach young people, we can help them grow. When we build the village around them, they don't have to do it alone.

The Village Starts with Relationships

For more than two decades, Ronny Jackson has been building relationships with young people and families — on the court, in schools, in neighborhoods, and wherever people need someone to show up.His work began in Chicago and has grown across Wisconsin and Illinois, with Green Bay now serving as home base for the next chapter of that work.Ronny’s Village grew from a simple belief: you can't teach someone you haven't reached.That means showing up before there is a crisis. Listening before giving advice. Building trust before asking for change. And creating spaces where young people know they are seen, valued, and supported.Ronny’s Village is carrying that approach forward by creating a community where young people and families have people in their corner and opportunities to thrive.

From Grassroots to Sustainable Impact

Ronny’s Village has spent more than 20 years building relationships and doing the work. Now we're building the organization to carry that work forward.In 2026, we're focused on:Building the foundation.
Building on our new 501(c)(3) status and strengthening the organizational infrastructure needed for long-term sustainability.Building our village of partners.
Securing founding partners and fiscal sponsors who can help us grow the organization and support the hiring of an Executive Director.Building safe spaces.
Creating places where young people and families can access programs, services, mentorship, and essential resources.This is the next chapter — and we want our community to be part of it.
